...The reporter angles her shoulder down and forces her way through the massive crowd that has formed around him. She has a death grip o­n her camera mans shirt as she yanks him into the voids created by her small frame. Eventually she makes it up to the front of the mob, bullies a couple people out of the way and turns to the camera, “are you ready? Ok” She brushes hair away from her lips as she waits for the red light to turn o­n, she screams over the deafing noise. “ ROGER... ROGER... OVER HERE! A QUICK INTERVIEW PLEASE” She readjust her shirt as Roger inches toward her, she then glances back at the camera. “ A FEW YEARS AGO YOU WERE DOWN ON YOUR LUCK, A THIRTY FIVE YEAR OLD DIVORCEE, NO KIDS, NO HOME... YOU DEFIED THE SKEPTICS TO CLAW YOUR WAY BACK TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW. YOU HAVE HAD A GREAT YEAR. YOU HAVE A GREAT HOME, GREAT FAMILY, GREAT FRIENDS AND NOW IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR GOING TO GET PROMOTED TO CAPTAIN. YOU STILL HAVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE AHEAD OF YOU... WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW?” Roger leans into the micophone as she pushes it through the lofting ticker tapes falling all around them.  He clears his throat and as fireworks explode behind him he screams into the air  “ I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!”

Yes, that's right ladies and gentleman by this time next week I will be knee deep in dwarfs and 200 lb rodents. I haven't been to Disney World since I was 12 years old and I think its time I pay Mikey and his pals a visit. Some good friends of mine invited me to go, I thought about it and decided, why the heck not?! Nothing more interesting than a 38 year old man running around a theme park with plastic ears o­n his head. I'm definitely looking forward to the trip. I'll see you guys when I get back! I Pitty the fool who doesn't like Haloween!

Ok, its no secret, everyone knows I love Halloween. You tell me of any other night of the year where you can go out and party with Mr. T, the Octomom and then end the night having a beer with a Happy Penguin! Yup, there is no other night quite like it. Oh, and I have pictures to prove it!

I started the night at my sisters house, went to Ram's party at the Alemeda and ended the night at the FRIO, good times!

100 brews and me???? Well I decided to venture out with the gang and see what this was all about. Good friends, good food, great weather, 100 beers to try out... what more could a man want. It was a beautiful day and turned out to be a blast. It o­nly lasted five hours which doesn't sound like much time but trust me it was more than enough... right JD? Ha Ha. About 15 years ago I made the star play of buying my own domain name. At the time it wasnt very easy to register a name and very few people knew how to do it so I was able to get my own name www.rogerlopez.com. So for the past 15 years my email address has been Rogerlopez@rogerlopez.com, how easy is that??

Well now Google, who by the way will o­ne day control the entire world and everything on it, has put out a pretty cool new service. They let you pick out a new phone number and you can use it to forward where ever you want it to go, and since its still early and not too many people know about it you can pick out a number that will be easy to remember. My number is 210-ROGERLO. Don't believe me? Try it. Oh and it does have call screening so If I don't have your number in my contacts it will be screened. So no more excuses people! There is never going to be a good excuse of why we don't keep in touch anymore.

At the time of this posting they are o­nly signing up by invite. I signed up and within a week  I received an email inviting me to join.

... and it o­nly took 15 years.

     I've been with Sprint for 15 years and it was aggravating as hell to have to choose from the ho hum line up of their so called “cutting edge” phones.  Well I got the new Palm Pre a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it.  I've had Palm phones for years, but last year I switched to the Blackberry Curve.  I liked the Blackberry but missed the touch screen.  I contemplated leaving Sprint and going to AT&T when the I-Phone came out but never made the move. No dbout the phone was cool as hell but for me it was impractical. I carry my phone with me ALL the time, I carry it in my left front pocket and the I-Phone is just too big and bulky for me, it just didnt feel right.  Plus, I refuse to wear o­ne of those so called "cell phone holster"... back in the day they called those fanny packs.  I also wasn't going to lug my phone around in a man purse (I get beat up enough already).  The Palm has the same screen resolution (320 x 480) as the I-Phone but in a way smaller form factor. Half the time I can't even tell I'm carrying it around.  Also, I text... ALOT and I cannot function without a physical keyboard.

     Anyways, I'm not going to bore you with my affection for the Pre, plus I don't want to offend all the I-Phone fanatics out there, yah yah your phone is the greatest, blah, blah, blah.

Soooooo, o­ne of the many cool things about this phone is the crazy simplicity of posting pictures to the web.
