BANG, BANG, BANG... BANG, BANG, BANG... "Whats that noise? will somebody pleeease tell them to stop banging already." I feel my body twitch as it wakes me from my comatose, "why the hell does my neck hurt so much? I'm soooo thirsty", as I lick my lips with my dry tongue, a loud thud and screeching tires rustle me back into the real world. I get jolted back and forth a few times as we slow down, now I know where I'm at.  My back and neck are killing me, I'm hungover, I've spent all my cash, uuuuuugh I feel miserable. I blink my eyes a few times to try and clear them out, as they adjust things begin to come into focus, I look around and remember I'm o­n a plane with some of my dearest friends... I smile.

Too often in life we spend so much time focusing o­n the negative things in our lives that we forget to look around and appreciate all the positive things that are surrounding us everyday. I just came back from two wonderful trips, Yeah, I'm pooped and don't want to see another beer for awhile but I wouldn't have missed any minute of it for the world. I truly have some great friends, I promise I will never take you guys for granted.

I Pitty the fool who doesn't like Haloween!

Ok, its no secret, everyone knows I love Halloween. You tell me of any other night of the year where you can go out and party with Mr. T, the Octomom and then end the night having a beer with a Happy Penguin! Yup, there is no other night quite like it. Oh, and I have pictures to prove it!

I started the night at my sisters house, went to Ram's party at the Alemeda and ended the night at the FRIO, good times!

100 brews and me???? Well I decided to venture out with the gang and see what this was all about. Good friends, good food, great weather, 100 beers to try out... what more could a man want. It was a beautiful day and turned out to be a blast. It o­nly lasted five hours which doesn't sound like much time but trust me it was more than enough... right JD? Ha Ha. Well, I loaded up the truck with my camping gear, snacks, plenty of diet big red and headed out to Bruceville, TX for a week of fun in the sun. I was able to get away for awhile and hang with some of the coolest people I've ever met. We hung out, played lots of sports (I'm the sports activity director) and partied all night, well at least til 10pm. I've been doing this for the past few years and I really enjoy myself. Every year I enjoy myself more and more. The kids are awesome and we all get to have a great time, its a great escape for all involved.click here to see the pictures.

Someone asked me the other day how old I was and I hate to admit it but I actually had to do the math… ok I was born in 1971 and its 2006 which makes me….. Well if nothing else at least I'm brushing up o­n my subtraction. Anyways, so now I'm another year older and of course that meant that I had to get together with some friends and celebrate the fact that I was able to survive yet another year. We all got together at Schooners bar and had a great time together. I am truly blessed!
